These terms govern the Pharos iPhone app and this website. Using either means you accept them. If you do not, do not use the service.
What Pharos is
Pharos is a market-data and alerting tool. It observes public trading activity on cryptocurrency exchanges and notifies you when activity you defined occurs.
What Pharos is not
Pharos is not a broker, an exchange, a custodian, a portfolio manager or an investment adviser. It does not execute trades, hold funds, or access your exchange account. Nothing in the app, on this site, or in a notification is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and nothing is a recommendation to buy or sell anything.
A signal reports that trading volume occurred. It does not predict what a price will do next. Trading cryptocurrency carries substantial risk, including the total loss of the amount traded. Every decision you make is yours, and you are responsible for it.
Accuracy of data
Market data comes from third-party exchanges. It can be delayed, incomplete, revised or wrong, and delivery of a notification depends on networks and services outside our control — including Apple’s push infrastructure and your own device settings. We provide the service on a best-effort basis and do not warrant that any alert will be delivered, delivered on time, or delivered at all. Do not build a strategy that depends on a notification arriving at a particular moment.
Your account
One account per person. Keep access to the email address on the account, because it is the only way in. Do not share access, resell the service, scrape it, or attempt to circumvent its limits. We may suspend an account that is being used to attack or overload the service.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions are sold through the App Store, and Apple’s terms govern the payment. Plans renew automatically until cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancel from iOS Settings → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. The free trial is three days, comes with the weekly plan, and is available once per Apple Account across the subscription group. Prices may change; a change never affects a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before it applies.
Intellectual property
The app, this site, its text and its design belong to Pharos Trade. Exchange names, Apple, App Store, iPhone and Google Play are the trademarks of their respective owners, used here descriptively; Pharos is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them.
Liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for trading losses, missed opportunities, lost profits, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service, from data that turned out to be wrong, or from a notification that did not arrive. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Ending it
You can stop at any time: cancel the subscription in iOS Settings and delete the account in the app. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, or if we discontinue the service — in which case we will give notice and you keep the remainder of any period you paid for.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; material changes are announced in the app before they take effect, and continuing to use the service after that means you accept them. Questions: pharos@pharostrade.pro.
