How to delete your accountSigning in
Pharos has no password. You enter your email address, we send a six-digit code, and the code signs you in on that device. Codes expire after a few minutes and each one works once.
The code did not arrive. Check the spam folder first — a message from a domain you have never received mail from often lands there. If it is not there after two minutes, request a new code; the previous one stops working the moment a new one is issued. If nothing arrives at all, the address may be typed differently from the one you used before — write to us and we will look it up.
You changed email address. Sign in with the old address, then write to us from the new one. We move the subscription and the rules across rather than making you rebuild them.
Notifications
Nothing is arriving. Three things have to be true: notifications are allowed for Pharos in iOS Settings, at least one rule is switched on in the Radar tab, and the threshold on that rule is low enough that it can actually fire. The rule card shows an estimate — if it says ~0 / day, the threshold is the problem, not the delivery.
Too many are arriving. Raise the threshold and watch the estimate move with it. A rule that covers every coin on the exchange will fire dozens of times a day by design; narrow it to your favourites, or to one side of the market, and it becomes usable.
They arrive late. iOS holds notifications back in Low Power Mode and under Focus modes, including Sleep. If timing matters, add Pharos to the allowed list of the Focus you use during market hours.
Rules and thresholds
Thresholds are expressed in BTC, not dollars, so one number means the same thing on a cheap coin and an expensive one. A rule of 5 BTC catches trades worth roughly five bitcoin regardless of which pair they happened on. The ladder of available steps comes from the server and differs per quote group, because a sensible threshold against BTC is not a sensible threshold against USDT.
Rules are evaluated on the server, so they keep working with the app closed, the screen locked, or the phone on another network.
Subscriptions and billing
Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple, not by us. That means we cannot see your card, cannot charge you, and cannot issue a refund directly.
- Cancel: iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Pharos → Cancel.
- Refund: request it from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Restore after reinstalling: sign in with the same Apple Account and use “Restore purchases” in the Profile tab.
- Change plan: switching to annual takes effect immediately; switching down takes effect at the end of the paid period.
The free trial is three days and is attached to the weekly plan. Apple allows one trial per Apple Account across the whole subscription group, so if you have used it once it will not be offered again.
Data and exchanges
Pharos reads public market data from the exchange. It never asks for API keys, cannot see your balance and cannot place an order. There is nothing you can connect that would give it access to your funds — if anything ever asks you for exchange keys in our name, it is not us.
Reporting a bug
What helps most, in one message: what you expected, what happened instead, the coin and the time it happened,
and a screenshot. If the app closed unexpectedly, send the crash report too — iOS Settings → Privacy &
Security → Analytics & Improvements → Analytics Data, and look for entries starting with
Pharos.
